Charles Reed Morgan, 71, passed away on April 9, 2014 at his residence in Sturgis, MS. He was founder and owner of Triangle Drywall and member of Morgan Chapel Baptist Church. He was a very dedicated family man.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Little Jim Morgan and Annie Mae Bagwell Morgan; sister, Norma Lewis; grandson, Dustin Shannon; and son-in-law, Bill Roberts.

He is survived by his wife, Gail Morgan of Sturgis, MS; daughter, Leslie Roberts of Sturgis, MS and Lisa Gayle Shannon (Mike) of Douglasville, GA; sons, James L. Morgan (Leonda) of Sturgis, MS and Jeff Morgan (Shannon) of Starkville, MS; 17 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; brother, Larry Morgan of Little Rock, MS; and sisters, Peggy Coleman, Bobbie Livingston and Joy McMinn, all of Sturgis, MS.

Visitation for Mr. Morgan is scheduled for Friday, April 11, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Morgan Chapel Baptist Church. Rev. Jeff Morgan and Rev. Jerry Skinner will conduct the service. Burial will be in Morgan Chapel Baptist Church cemetery.
