Condolence: I've known William, I guess, all of my life. We are the same age and attended Starkville schools from the first grade to graduation. I was proud to know him and have him as a friend. When you are close to someone that long, it is like family. I remember our last reunion of the class of 1950 when he was there. Next year will be our 65th reunion and even though he will not be with us, he will join us in our hearts and memories.

William, rest in peace, ole friend.

Condolence From: Mark & Toni Newell
Condolence: To Allison and Family,
On behalf of the Newell family we offer our deepest heartfelt condolences to you, Patsy, Will and Andy. Your father was truly a remarkable person who made everyone including our family feel welcomed and loved. I always wanted our son to grow up to be like your father. Your dad had deep moral convictions and an ethos for how all Christian men should pattern their life after. I'll always treasure the time spent with your dad especially quail hunting and working around the dairy farm. He'll truly be missed but not forgotten. It did not take the passing of your father to realize how great a man he was...we all knew it when we first met him. We pray that you and your family's grief is short and that the spirit of William lives in all of us forever.

Love to all - Mark and Toni Newell

He is a man that will surely be missed. Our prayers are with his family.
