Mr. Marvin Brunson Robinson, 85, died Friday, August 8, 2014, at Baptist Medical Towers, Pensacola, FL.

Born in Wayne County, MS, parents were Clara and George Robinson. He was a resident of Starkville since 1956. Marvin was a retiree of Babcock & Wilcox Co., West Point, MS. Also, he and our Mom (Mary) raised Black Angus cattle on their Oktibbeha County farm. His primary joy came from spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved family and friends unconditionally. He was a member of First Baptist, Starkville.

Visitation is scheduled for Monday, August 11, 2014 from 3-4 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 4 p.m. at Memorial Garden Park conducted by Rev. Clifton Curtis and Rev. Roland Hall from Madison, MS.

Survivors include his daughter, Jeanette Holley (Robert) of Oxford, MS; sons, Bert Robinson of Starkville, MS, and Glenn Robinson of Birmingham, AL; three grandchildren, Richard Evans (Melissa) of Madison, MS; Shawn Amanda Robinson and Candice R. Ellington (Jon) of Hattiesburg, MS. Great grandchildren, Megan and Morgan Evans of Madison, MS and Aubrey Quartana of Hattiesburg, MS.
