Robert Earl (Buddy) Daniels, 80, passed away on September 25, 2014 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. He was a retired welder with Gulf States, member of Primitive Baptist Church in Maben, MS, and an Army Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Henry Daniels and Susie Mae Thaxton Daniels; wife, Mary Sudie Reed Daniels; brothers, Claude Henry Daniels, Jr.,Mickey McManus, and Jerry McManus.

He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Daniels Collins (George) of Terry, MS; sons, William Robert Daniels (Doris Ann) of Mathiston, MS; sister, Doris Keith; brothers, Roy Dale McManus, and Doug Mann; and grandchildren, Justin Collins (Bonney), Joseph Collins, and Monica Daniels; and great grandchildren, Riley Jo Collins, Taylor Olivia Collins, and Stephen Corbin Lane.

Visitation for Mr. Daniels is scheduled for Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS and then on Sunday, September 28, 2014 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Primitive Baptist Church on Maben-Sturgis Rd., with the funeral service immediately following. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
