Condolence: I knew E C at Arkansas Tech and later served with him 9 years in the Ozark National Guard. E C was one of the finest individuals I have ever known and he will be missed by every one who knew him. I always considered E C as one of my best friends. I am so sorry to hear of Dr. O'Neal's death. He was always so DEAR to me, and reminded me of my own Dad. The students in our department loved and appreciated him, as did all of us who knew and worked with him. He was so helpful to me when I first started teaching, and always "looked out" for me! Condolence: Katie and family, it was only Saturday, the day Coach O'Neal passed away, that Ted Tyler and I were together for several hours and reminisced about high school days including the time we spent with Coach playing basketball for him. We have fond memories of those days, including knowing all the O'Neal family. Coach was good to us boys and we especially enjoyed getting to be at his induction into the AR Sports Hall of Fame.
