Aline A. Fortin Pankey, 81, passed away on October 17, 2014 at Meridian Specialty Hospital in Meridian, MS. She was a retired line worker with Garan, Inc. Her religion was Catholic. She was truly an angel here on earth.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Adelard Fortin and Blanche Gagne' Fortin.

She is survived by her husband, Walter Pankey of Starkville; daughter, Cathleen Odom of Memphis, TN; sons, Walter Pankey, Jr. of Coffeeville, MS, Paul Pankey of Starkville, MS, Bobby Pankey of Clinton, MS, and Michael Pankey of Starkville, MS; sisters, Jeanine Clark, and Claudette Rambush; brothers, Maurice, Patrick, Norman, and Roger Fortin; 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Pankey is scheduled for Tuesday, October 21, 2014 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Welch Funeral Home, with the service immediately following in the funeral home chapel.
