Katie Michelle Ray, 31, passed away on November 24, 2014 at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. She was an accountant, and a graduate of Mississippi State University. She enjoyed jewelry making, photography, and was an avid MSU fan.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Chambers Ray.

She is survived by her father, Dale Ray; brother, William Ray, both of Starkville, MS; and niece, Teagan Ray.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday, November 28, 2014 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS, with the funeral service immediately following in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Danny Avery will conduct the service. Burial will be in Memorial Garden Park Cemetery.
