Judy Nowell Atkinson, 52, passed away on December 25, 2014 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS. She was a homemaker and member of Friendship Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Denise Kelly of West Point, MS; son, Jaden Christopher Atkinson of Starkville, MS; sisters, Joyce N. Ware of Sturgis, MS and Janice Williamson of Philadelphia, MS; brothers, James E. Nowell of Starkville, MS and Jason M. Nowell of Mantee, MS; and grandchildren, Destiny Nowell, Kenan and Trevon Wylie, Layla and Dylan Kelly; and step-daughter, Mandy Thompson of Philadelphia, MS and her son, Tristan Thompson.

Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church in Sturgis, MS. Rev. Jeff Morgan and Rev. Eddie Painter will conduct the service.
