Obituary for Max Ray Hawes

Max Ray  Hawes
Max Ray Hawes, 70, passed away on January 24, 2015 at his residence in Starkville, MS. He was Owner/Operator of Hawes Trucking for over 30 years. He was a member of Way of Life Ministries, where he served the Lord in the capacity of video, audio and also served as a servant to Pastor Chris Owensby. He loved working with computers. He loved his family, especially "Momma", his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved his four-legged babies.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Albert Hawes; mother, Tommie Evelyn Ray Hawes; and sister, Nancy Hawes.

He is survived by his wife for over 52 years, Ruth Ann Kelly Hawes; daughter, Nancy Ann Hawes Grammer (Gerry Lynn); granddaughter, Keri Michele Grammer; grandson, Mason Hawes Grammer (Jessica); great grandsons, Chris Grammer and Kalem Hawes Grammer; sister, Janice Hawes Fason (Horace); brother, Buddy Hawes (Debbie); and many nieces and nephews and extended family.

His pastor, Chris Owensby, will lead a Celebration of Life Service at Way of Life Ministries in Grenada, MS on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 6:30 p.m.
