Our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, or as we called him "Daddy Bill", passed away on January 28, 2015 at the VA Home in Kosciusko, MS. He was 82 years old. We will miss his sense of humor, and the love he had for his family and friends. He loved eagles, so now Daddy Bill, fly high like an eagle in the sky.

Bill was a retired banker and business man. He was an avid MSU fan and loved gardening. He was also an Air Force Veteran, and also a member of the Starkville Café Liar's Club. The Liar's Club will be honorary pallbearers.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Arnett Collier; parents, Eugene Collier and Lucy Myers Collier; and brother-in-law, Billy Weeks.

He is survived by his daughter, Olivia Jacks (Carl); sons, Keith (K.C.) Collier (Patsy), and Bobby Collier (Donna), all of Starkville; grandchildren, Brad Collier (Melanie), Heather Collier Justice (David), Emily Collier, Katie Collier, Brittany Jacks, Adam Murrah (Sara), and Joy Crews (Jamie); great grandchildren, Reese Collier, Mady Collier, Morgan Crews, and Lynn Murrah; and sister, Bertie Ruth Weeks of Brandon, MS.

Visitation for Mr. Collier is scheduled for Friday, January 30, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Welch Funeral Home chapel. Dr. Prentiss Gordon will conduct the service. Burial will be in Memorial Garden Park Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Wounded Warrior, Palmer Home for Children, or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
