Condolence: J.C.your dad was a great friend since the 70's when I was in Lexington in revival and we talked about quail hunting out at Coila. When we moved 20 years later to Starlville. He always remembered and called me the man from coila. He will be missed greatly. He was a true Christian gentleman, and a great State fan.

Condolence From: Calvin Burwell
Condolence: My father Johnny "Sonny" Burwell worked for Mr Patton for almost 30 years in Lexington and I was raised in the office there as I went to school and spent many hours after school and in the summers around Mr Patton.
I started helping the survey crew in the summer of 1972 at age 11 where I recall getting my first earned spending money. I had picked out a radio at the Western Auto Store on the square in Lexington and I will never forget running down the sidewalk to that store and telling the man I had my money and made that purchase .... Wow .. Those were the days
Mr Patton always treated me like his own son and greeted me with a Smile.
He took me to see those Bulldogs play and got me hooked on MSU
I remember those trips to Starkville and all his kindness
I know he is in Bulldog Heaven " leading them in a Go Dawgs Cheer!!!!
God Bless the family in this time and loss
He was a Good Man..!!!!
Best Regards
Calvin Burwell

Condolence: My sympathy to the family of Mr. Patton. I first became acquainted with him in the mid1960s while working at the Choctaw County Courthouse and he was county engineer. He was a joy to be around and true MSU fan. God bless and comfort you
