Gail Elizabeth Brand Morgan, 70, passed away on April 23, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS. She was a homemaker and member of Morgan Chapel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee H. Brand and Gwennell Porter Brand; husband, Charles Reed Morgan; grandson, Dustin Shannon; and son-in-law, Bill Roberts.

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Gayle Shannon (Mike) of Douglasville, GA and Leslie Roberts of Sturgis, MS; sons, James L. Morgan (Leonda) of Sturgis, MS and Jeff Morgan (Shannon) of Starkville, MS; brothers, Terry Brand and Gerald Brand, both of Atlanta, GA; 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Morgan is scheduled for Friday, April 24, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Morgan Chapel Baptist Church. Rev. Jeff Morgan and Dr. Gary Roberson will conduct the service. Burial will be in Morgan Chapel Cemetery.
