Sybil Jeanette McManus, age 74, passed away on April 24, 2015 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi. She was a retired sales clerk with J.C. Penney but spent many years working for the TV Cable Company. Sybil loved flowers, gardening, as well as her 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Services are scheduled for Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville. Visitation will precede the service from 12- 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Memorial Garden Park.

Sybil is survived by her son, Johnny McManus of Starkville; daughter, Alisa Watson and her husband, Steve, of Gurley, AL; brother, Edsel Stewart, and his wife, Sofia of Carmen City, Mexico; grandchildren, John McManus, Jr., Jeanette Mullins, Taylor Watson; great grandson, Jude Mullins.
