Obituary for Margie F. Fulgham

Margie F. Fulgham, 83, passed away on June 22, 2015 at OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville. She was born in Choctaw County February 17, 1932. She served as Election Commissioner in Oktibbeha County for 18 years. She owned and operated Fulgham's Grocery and service station in the Double Springs Community for 54 years. She is a life-long member of the Double Springs Baptist Church. She was a cherished mother, beloved friend, and community leader.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris S. Fulgham; parents, Willie and Lena Fulgham; and brother, Bob Fulgham.

She is survived by her daughters, Dianne F. West of Sturgis, MS, Jane F. McCool, Susie F. Dewberry (Terry), and Cheri F. Dewberry, all of Maben, MS; son, Steven S. Fulgham (Darleen) of Maben, MS; sisters, Bertie F. Harpole (Demar) of Pearl, MS, and Betty F. O'Brian of Courtland, MS; brothers, John M. Fulgham of Maben, MS, and Gene Fulgham of Tupelo, MS; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Fulgham is scheduled for Wednesday, June 24, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Double Springs Baptist Church in Maben. Rev. Bud Reeves, Rev. Gene O'Brian, and Rev. Larry Odom will conduct the service. Burial will be in the Clear Springs Primitive Baptist Church cemetery.
