Annie Laura Bush Davis, age 93, passed away at her residence in Starkville, Mississippi on August 22, 2015. Mrs. Davis was a retired self-employed home day care provider. She worked at Cohern Big Star for some 10 years or more, she loved children and was a very loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband of 69 years Floyd Davis of Starkville; son, Albert Davis of Starkville; daughter, Shirley Mims of Valley Grande, Alabama; 2 grandchildren, Sabrina Andrews and Laura Mims; 1 great grandchild, Lauren Abigal Andrews.

Visitation is scheduled for Monday, August 24 at Welch Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. The funeral service is Tuesday, August 25 in the Welch Funeral Home chapel at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Park.
