Virginia Carmichael McLemore, age 82, passed away at her residence in Starkville, MS on October 17, 2015. Mrs. McLemore was a retired RN with Saint Dominic Hospital in Jackson and a member of the Pine Lake Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Virginia also loved her flowers and was a member of the “Red Hat Society”.

The memorial funeral service will be Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 10 A.M. in the Welch Funeral Home Chapel in Starkville. Burial will be in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Meridian, MS at 3 p.m.

Virginia was preceded in death by her first husband, Dewey Carmichael, her parents, Walter Wesley Warren and Flora Caten; brothers, Wirt Warren and Walter Warren; sisters, Edna Pearl Minor and Fannie Mae Myrick; She is survived by her second husband, Eugene Jackson McLemore, Jr of Starkville; daughters, Lisa Sellars of Starkville, and Kimberly Carmichael of Virginia; brother, Leo Warner; three grandchildren.
