Condolence: Mrs. Frances and family,
I am so, so sorry to hear of Mr. Bill's passing. He was such a good friend to all of my family and I will truly miss seeing him at the ball games. He was a kind and sharing man and again I will miss him dearly. He was a good friend.

Condolence From: Kelly, Joy and Rex Ames
Condolence: We want you all to know that we are so sad for the loss of "Papaw Bill"! We have been so pleased to have known him for all of these years and to have been allowed to raise our child at the "Peanut truck" with Papaw and the Polks for all these years. Rex will forever remember growing up with Ford and Tyler in left field lounge, and having known Papaw Bill. I can not express how much our lives have been better for having known him. His presence will be missed. Mrs. France's, Michael, Ford,Michelle, and Laura, we love you and we are so very sorry. If you need us we are always here.

Condolence: We were saddened to hear of Bill Polk's passing and what a wonderful Dad and loyal Bulldog he was. Bill was a former president of the Starkville Quarterback Club, original Foster Parent in 1976 for Head coach Ron Polk's baseball team and just a wonderful human being. One of the best road trips I ever made to a football game was in 1982 when Bill let me drove from Starkville to Baton Rouge with him for the MSU win over LSU in the Polk Luxury Motor Home. It was a trip to remember and way too many stories swapped and great fellowship - Prayers for the Polk family and thanks and RIP to our old friend and loyal Bulldog Bill.

Condolence: My dear "Aunt Fran, Little Bill, Michael and Laura....I am so very sorry to hear of Big Bill's passing away. He put up quite the fight, but is at peace now...probably rounding up all the Bulldogs in Heaven, as we speak. I have such wonderful memories of spending summers in Starkville and Big Bill was such a special part of those memories. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. I can't get to Starkville this weekend due to business commitments Friday through next week, but will definitely try to bring Mom over later this Spring for a visit. Love and Hugs to all! Beth and Steve
