Johnny Mack Trice, 63, passed away on January 27, 2016 at Starkville Manor Nursing Home in Starkville, MS. He was a CTA Bus Driver for the Chicago Transit Authority in Chicago, Illinois. He loved the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears, computers, and 50's and 60's music.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Christine Trice; and grandson, Robert Thomas Raniere.

He is survived by his daughter, Cassandra Lynne Raniere (Christopher) of Schaumburg, Illinois; son, Johnny Mack Trice, Jr. (Karol) of Lake Villa, Illinois; father, Dero Trice of Starkville, MS; sisters, Mary Anderson (Lonnie) of Starkville, MS; brother, Tony Trice of Orlando, FL; granddaughter, Jessica Prosser; grandson, Nathaniel Trice; and great grandson, Henry Prosser.

Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 12:30-2:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS, with the funeral service immediately following in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Melvin Mordecai will conduct the service. Burial will be in Bevil Hill Cemetery in Louisville, MS.
