Margie O'Bannon Wade, 89, passed away on May 16, 2016 at her residence in Starkville, MS. She was a retired secretary for the Registrar's office at Mississippi State University and a member of First Baptist Church in Starkville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennie O'Bannon and Bettie Lee Davis O'Bannon; and her husband, Arthur Wade; and daughter, Linda Wade.

She is survived by her son, Lowell Wade and Carolyn of Starkville, MS; grandchildren, Christopher Lowell Wade and Michael and Stephen Miller; great grandchildren, Jamie Christopher Wade, Jordan Michael Wade, Ivy Miller, Shannon Rhodes, Heather Miller, Austin Miller and Weston Miller; and great great grandchild, Isabella Kuykendall.

Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, May 18, 2016 from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS, with the funeral service immediately following in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Clifton Curtis will conduct the service. Burial will be in Memorial Garden Park Cemetery in Starkville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
