Floyd Murry Davis, age 91, passed away on June 30, 2016 at the Choctaw Regional Medical Center in Ackerman. Mr. Davis was a retired machinist for United Technology.

He is survived by his son, Albert Davis of Starkville; daughter, Shirley Mims of Valley Grande Alabama; Sister, Mary Wellington of Starkville; grandchildren, Laurie Mims and Sabrina Andrews; and great grandchild, Abby Andrews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie L. Davis; parents, Frank Davis and Ada Baswell Davis.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 5 from 12:30 – 2:30 at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville with the service to follow at 2:30. Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens Park. Services will be conducted by Scot Riley.
