Billy Roy McCollum
Billy Roy McCollum, 76, passed away on July 16, 2016 at his residence in Starkville, MS. He was a Machinist with the Physics Department at Mississippi State University and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Starkville. He enjoyed the outdoors and he loved to hunt, fish, car racing and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill McCollum and Myrtle Blankenship McCollum.

He is survived by his wife, Lou McCollum of Starkville, MS; daughters, Laura Clark (Kevin) of Birmingham, AL and Leslie Peterson of Fulton, MS; and grandchildren, Shannon Sullivan, Brittany Sullivan, Hunter Clark and Avery Clark.

Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, July 19, 2016 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS, with the service immediately following in the funeral home chapel. Dr. Grant Arinder will conduct the service. Burial will be in Curtis Chapel Cemetery in Starkville.
