Dewey Lamar Bostick, 77 passed away at his home in Columbus, MS on July 22, 2016. He is survived by his wife Dorothy Bostick, 5 daughters: Joyce Bostick, Teresa Owens, Sharon Bostick, Kimberly Wooten, Crystal Jordan and 3 sons: Dewey Lamar Bostick Jr., David Wooten, William David Bostick, 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Lamar has a brother, William Bostick and 2 sisters: Gwen Gaskin and Jackie Agnelly.

He enjoyed the outdoors, loved fishing, and falling asleep watching a football game or a good old Western.

Visitation will be held Monday at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS from 5:00p.m to 7:00p.m. Service will be held Tuesday July 26, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Welch Funeral Home Chapel, Burial will follow at the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
