Condolence: Mr. Gibson was such a kind man. He administered my driving test many moons ago. I was so nervous, but he just smiled and told me I would do great. And I passed! My condolences to Mrs. Gibson and Wendy. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: Mrs Gibson and Wendy, I was so very sad to learn of Mr. Gibson's passing away. I did not find out until today or I would have surely tried to come to pay my respects. He was always such a kind sweet man, that always made me feel welcome in your home. I know well the feeling of loss you feel, and I pray for peace and comfort from the Good Lord for you both. Condolence From: Hope Paradise
Condolence: My Deepest Sympathy. This is probably one of the most difficult things you can go through, and I am so sorry you are going through it. Although it's really, really hard right now, your memories, happy times, special times together are still in your mind, think of them, share them often, he will remain so close to you, deep within your heart. There may be times when it's tough, those are the times when you draw close to God. James 4:8 says: "Draw close to God and he will draw close to you." God also promised to be there for you, to help you, to strengthen you, even to hold on to you with his right hand, carry you when you can't carry yourself. (Isaiah 41:10) What a wonderful promise, and we know he will do it because Titus 1:2 says that "God cannot lie". God's promises are as good as done. So, lean on God and he will comfort you and help you. I really hope you find these words comforting and they give you the strengthen you need to make it through this difficult time.

Condolence From: Jimmy and Pat Dye
Condolence: 16 1/2 years ago we were lucky enough to rent a house on Sycamore Street until our house was built. The Gibsons were some of the first people we met and have been blessed with that friendship since. We are thankful for time spent over meals, card games, dominos, bar-b-que, and just being together. We praise God for friendships and we thank you for loving our Grandkids and giving them special names that they treasure. Thanks for treasured memories "Mr. Wendell" from Bubba, Boudreau, Bug-a-boo, Bumble-bee, and Bunny! We pray that all of the family memories for Sue,Wendy and others you all share will soon dim the pain that is so very real at the moment! Love and prayers,

Condolence From: Earl and Mary Stennis
Condolence: It is a sad day as our dear friend and brother in Christ will be laid to rest but we know he is in the arms of our Lord and Savior. I was four years old when Wendell's dad built our house in Damascus and that was the beginning of our friendship with the Gibson family. Our friendship has always been a happy time every time we were together. Earl and I will truly miss this friend. Who will we give the Kemper County Paper to as we enjoyed sharing our county news together.? Sue and Wendy, we are here for you and we are praying God will comfort you and give you the strength to face the days ahead. Also, prayers to all the family as we know how close and how much you love each other. RIP till we meet again sweet friend.
