Maggie Phillips Ivy, 83, passed away at her home on Friday, September 1, 2017. She was born on July 8, 1934, to Louella and Ruben Phillips. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, and 3 sisters.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years: Edgar Ivy, Jr.; her children: Suzie Shurden (Joe), Jeff Ivy, and Cliff Ivy (Judy), all of Starkville. She is survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Dot Shook of Florence, MS, and her brother, Paul Phillips, of Dothan, AL.

Visitation is scheduled for Monday, September 4, 2017, from 10 a.m.- 12 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home, with the funeral service immediately following. Brother Grant Arrinder will conduct the service. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Park.
