Danny Carl Dorsey, 50, passed away on September 7, 2014 at OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville, MS. He was the Meat Market Manager for Kroger and attended Pinelake Church in Starkville. He was an Alabama fan and loved motorcycles and he also loved to fish and cook and grill. He adored his wife, children, and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel S. Dorsey.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Dorsey of Starkville, MS; daughter, Ashley Dorsey Harris (Michael) of Clarkson, MS; sons, Dillon Dorsey of Starkville, MS, Robert Baker (Jessica) of Eupora, MS, and Lee Baker (Nichole) of Memphis, TN; mother, Bamer Dorsey of Maben, MS; sister, Pam Dorsey Edwards (Jimmy) of Montpelier, MS; four grandchildren, Kyler and Kaleigh Harris of Clarkson, MS, and Sydney Baker of Eupora, MS and Lily Baker of Memphis, TN; and niece, Athena Easton (Scott) of Montpelier, MS; great nephew, Jackson Easton of Montpelier, MS.

Visitation for Mr. Dorsey is scheduled for Tuesday, September 9, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Welch Funeral Home. Rev. Barry Hathcock will conduct the service. Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery.
