Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Billie Dale Pirrung can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Billie Dale  Pirrung
Ms. Billie Dale Pirrung, 73, passed away on Saturday February 20, 2021, due to complications from pneumonia. She was born, July 6, 1947, in Houston, Ms to Mr. John Presley Walls and Geneva Doss Walls McCafferty.

Billie was preceded in death by her parents John and Geneva and her stepfather Richard McCafferty. She leaves behind her son Michael Pirrung of Starkville, MS, daughter Michele Pirrung of Lenoir City, TN, 3 grandchildren: Aaron Pirrung, Parker Simpson, and Logan Pirrung. She also leaves behind a brother John Walls (Sue); 3 sisters Diane Walls Keller, Renee Freebury (Bryce), Sheila Cline (Eric) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Billie graduated from Starkville High School Class of 1966. She attended Emmanuel Baptist Church and later followed Nap Clark wherever he was preaching. She was an avid fan of all things MS State University and Dallas Cowboys Football. She enjoyed reading and going to the movies. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt who loved spending time with her family.

A private memorial service will be held at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of choice.
