The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Bobbie Gore can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Dear Albert and family,
In July 2022, we moved to York, PA to be closer to our daughter. We still subscribe to the SDN so read Bobbie's obituary. I remember chatting with her at Starkville Physical Therapy. She worked so hard there. You would drive her back and forth. Several years ago I was active in the Oktibbeha County Democratic Party. When you were County Chair Bobbie would come and get involved too, those were the days. My how things have changed in this country since then. We registered to vote when we moved here and were successful in keeping Dr. Oz from being our senator. I'm sure each of you have many wonderful memories of Bobbie as your mother, as grandmother, to your childen. And Albert, I think Bobbie told me that you and she dated while in high school. It was wonderful that you were able to reconnect after all those years. God Bless each one of you. HelenSue Parrish

Condolence: Dear Mr. Gore, Denise and Mike,
We are so sad to hear about Mrs. Gore’s passing. We lived a couple of doors away from her on Cambridge Drive in Starkville our whole life growing up. She was the most wonderful, kind, generous, thoughtful, warm neighbor to us and a very good friend of my mother, Ann Andrews. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Condolence: I think of dear Bobbie as one of the most engaging people I have ever met. I remember the 2014 senate campaign with Bobbie and Albert. They were quite a pair and we had so much fun in Jackson that day. My sympathy to Albert and the families. Rest in peace, Bobbie.
