Condolence From: Mary
Condolence: My heartfelt condolences for your loss. Please find comfort in the knowledge that soon God will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and “death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”(Rev. 21:3,4) May this promise give you comfort now and a real hope for the future. My deepest sympathies.

Condolence: What a delightful and talented lady. And, yes, her obit is a real tribute to the life she lived. She taught part of our children and our paths crossed many times in community. She always had a smile and called us by name! Do I remember that her son was the same age as our Sara? She and Dr. Hawkins were definitely assets to the Starkville community where we lived for 40 years and raised our family. Blessings as you grieve your loss, but celebrate the life of your mother well lived.

Condolence: Dear Jane, I was saddened to learn of your mother's death. It is so hard to say goodbye to your mama. What a handsome, stately woman was she! I always enjoyed seeing her at the St. Andrew's programs while your kids were there. Both your mom and dad were very special to my parents. Our dads were school superintendents at the same time, and then both, thankfully, ended up in Starkville, where they enjoyed a wonderful life. I like to think that all four of them made a difference in many lives...I know they did in mine. My thoughts and prayers are for your comfort. Doug

Condolence: I was very sorry to hear about the passing of Miss Carrie
My family and the Hawkins family were close friends, as so many others were.
Her husband was in my father's class at Maben High School, and my mother taught at her husband, at Wood college at nights.
All the Hawkins family have, for a long time been supporters of Double-Springs churches, in Oktibbeha County
We will continue to keep all families in prayer
