The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Charles Carley can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Dear Carley family,
We enjoyed being your neighbors in Plantation Homes. We also enjoyed your parents at Trinity Presbyterian Church. In later years C.T. was so solicitous as he helped your mother, Shirley, navigate the ramp into and out of church with her walker. We also welcomed each of you as you came from afar to visit your parents and accompanied them at Trinity. May God Bless each one of you.

Condolence: Having known the Carley family all my life as Shirley’s first cousin, I almost feel like an honorary Carley. CT was always entertaining at family get togethers, and I was in awe of his intellect and broad scope of interests and knowledge.

Condolence: I have fond memories of CT from when we both sang bass in the FUMC adult choir in the 70's. I was a teenager and know him as Mari's and Chip's dad. Interesting to learn he also went to Rice University.
