The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dorothy "Dot" Carlisle Simonds can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Sylvia Sutphin
Condolence: My mother was in the same Sunday School class with Mrs. Dot. Mother really enjoyed that class and often mentioned Mrs. Dot with fond comments. She was a wonderful person and we know you will miss her terribly. Know our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Condolence: Patti and I and our family are so saddened to hear of the passing of Ms. Dot. She was a wonderful person full of kindness who did so much for others. And her smile lit up the room. I will never forget visiting with her many times in the SHS baseball press box when her son Danny was coaching and our boys played for him. Wonderful memories of her. May she Rest In Peace as she now sits at the right hand of God.

Condolence: Dot was an inspiration and encouragement to others. I am thankful for the times we spent together. Her smile was like a ray of sunshine. Although I miss her, it is comforting to know that she is rejoicing in Heaven now. I look forward to joining her when the Lord calls me.

Condolence: Our sympathy for the family, sisters, daughters in law, grandchildren and great grandchildren. A big loss for you and us. So quick to know she has left us for her heavenly home. We were so blessed to know her, to spend some time with her here on this earth. We will meet again, until then May the Lord Comfort all of you and bless you with many wonderful memories.
