On Friday, December 4, 2020, Dr. Barbara Helen Harvey, a devoted wife and a loving mother of seven children, twenty grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, passed into Glory at the age of seventy-nine. Barbara was born in Philadelphia, PA, on July 10, 1941. She moved to Miami, Florida, at the age of two. Barbara earned her BA in Education from Tennessee Temple University in 1974. She earned her Ph.D. in English Education from Landmark Baptist College after she was sixty years old.

Barbara was married to Dr. Danny Harvey for fifty years. She enjoyed being a pastor’s wife and working in the church. Her greatest joy was raising her seven children and being a grandmother.

Barbara is proceeded by her Parents, George and Ruth Fuller; and Granddaughter, Ashely Gaede.

She is survived by her Husband, Dr. Danny Harvey; Sister, Elaine and Don Bolton; Children, Cynthia and Jesus Vasquez, Ronn and Sarah Rothfeldt, John and Raeann Harvey, Paul and Joanna Harvey, Melanie Harvey, Darryl Harvey, Matthew and Nishoni Harvey; Nineteen Grandchildren and two Great-Grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Memorial Services will be held at Shining Light Baptist Church 957 Sunset Dr. Starkville, MS. 39759 Friday, December 11, 2020, 10:00 am.
