The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dr. Thomas (Tom) H. Loftin can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Although I met Thomas only a few times, I've known his son, Richard, since he moved to Starkville in 8th grade and Richard's wife, Durenda, since kindergarten. I feel I knew him at least some from talks through with the years with Durenda. My heart goes out to them and rest of his loved ones, but especially to Thomas's wife as she navigates this difficult time. I know from Durenda that Judy was a devoted caregiver throughout Thomas's struggle with ALS. May she find some peace in knowing that she did everything she could for him. Barbara Holland Criswell
