Eddie Virgil (Butch) Perrigin, Jr., 71, passed away on December 14, 2021 at Baptist Hospital in Columbus, MS. He was a retired heavy machine operator with Sobley Excavating and a U.S. Army Veteran. He loved spending time with his grandson and loved his dog, Tiny.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Dot Perrigin; daughter, Crystal Perrigin Unser; brother, Mike Perrigin; and granddaughter, Sarah Vada Jones.

He is survived by his daughter, Tabbitha Jones (Charlie) of Maben, MS; son, Shawn Perrigin of Mantachie, MS; wife, Susie Perrigin of Starkville, MS; grandson, Charlie Jones, Jr. of Maben, MS; brother, John Perrigin of Tupelo, MS; and several aunts, nieces and cousins.

Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS, with the funeral service immediately following in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Curtis Chapel Cemetery in Starkville.
