Edna M. Thompson, 85, passed away on December 10, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS. Mrs. Thompson was an assembly line operator for United Technology and a member of Double Springs Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, T. D. Betts and Ruby Dewberry Betts; and husband, William D. Thompson.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Britt (James) of Mathiston, MS; son, Perry Thompson (Lucy) of Maben, MS; sister, Doris Pierce of Maben, MS; grandchildren, Chris Britt (Tracy) and Ashley Britt (Carolyn); and great grandchildren, Haley Pritchard, Anthony Britt, Hannah Britt, and Ashton Britt.

Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Double Springs Baptist Church, with the funeral service immediately following. Rev. Coy Fulgham will conduct the service. Burial will be in Clear Springs Primitive Baptist Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Frank Williamson, James Rhodes, James Phelps, Anthony Britt, Tanner Pritchard, and Chris McCarter.
