Condolence: Elbert gave me my first job at Skate Zone in Columbus on the day I turned 16. I spent the next 4 years working in some capacity for him. He was always kind, and he made me laugh daily. I cherish many of the memories I have from that time. He will be missed by many, and I pray for peace during this sad time for his family. I hope you take comfort in knowing the joy he brought to so many others.

Condolence: Kathy, Michael and Jeff, Beth, my sincere prayers are for all of you. Oh, My, this is like a family death. I thought of you all last evening - all evening. What a tremendous person Elbert was. One of the very best. I've thought of the many things we did together. Many. One of the tops was our trip together to the College World Series in 1985. The kids had a great time at the hotel with the players .... the games.... the Bulldog fans.... having dinner one night with Rafael and Lynn. Fun trip with your family. My prayers continue for you all. Thanks for the memories. Love you, Larry
