Elizabeth Smith Dunn, 92, passed away on March 6, 2023 at the Carrington Nursing Center in Starkville, MS.

She was a retired inventory Clerk for Garan Manufacturing and a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. She loved sewing/smocking. She greatly loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Wilson Dunn; parents, Zellie L. Smith and Mary Emma Ashmore Smith; son, Buddy Dunn; and numerous brothers and sisters.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Barbara Dunn Rogers (Russ) of Starkville, MS, Sylvia Dunn Box of Sturgis, MS, and Beverly Dunn Phillips (Bill) of Sturgis, MS; daughter-in-law, Judy Dunn Arruza (Javier) of Sturgis, MS; sister, Mary Odom; 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews.

Visitation is scheduled Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, Sturgis, MS, with the service immediately following. Burial will be in Wake Forest Cemetery. Rev. Mike Sanders will conduct the service.
