Obituary for Elizabeth (Libby) Morris Steadman
Elizabeth (Libby) Morris Steadman passed away on July 5, 2019 at Vicker's Personal Care Home in Mathiston, MS. She was a member of First Baptist Church and very active in the Eastern Star. She loved reading her Bible, spending time with her family and dearly loved her cat, "Tomas" and her dog, "Blue". She loved coca cola and watching "As The World Turns".
She was preceded in death by her parents, Chauncy and Mazie Morris; and her husband, Bertrand Steadman.
She is survived by her son, Curby Morris Steadman; granddaughter, Shelby Bolton (Dee); and great grandchildren, Carson and Ariana, all of Starkville, MS.
Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, July 7, 2019 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS, with the funeral service immediately following in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Garden Park Cemetery in Starkville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: American Stroke Association, 4830 McWillie Circle, Jackson, MS 39206.
