Condolence: When I was a student at MHS, I used to go to the Library everyday to check out a book or peruse the shelves. After a while she told me that me, "If you're going to be in here everyday, I'm going to put you to work." I started that day helping her by checking out books, replacing returned books to the shelves and odd jobs. Her instruction and guidance fostered my love of books She was truly a friend and one of my favorite people at Maben High. I will miss her so very much. God Bless you Mrs. Gifford.
