Obituary for Frank Morgan

Frank Ladell Morgan, age 91, passed away at the Oktibbeha County Regional Hospital on June 29, 2019. He was a farmer and retired from Bordens Milk Plant in Starkville. Mr. Morgan was a member of Morgan Chapel Baptist Church, a U.S. Navy veteran, loved camping with his wife in their R.V., hunting, fishing, Mississippi State University sports and especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS from 5-7 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Morgan Chapel Baptist Church in Sturgis, MS on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 with a visitation at 10 a.m. and the funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Morgan Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Jason Middleton will officiate the service.

Mr. Morgan is survived by 2 daughters, Lynn King Morgan of Starkville, MS, and Rozanne Morgan Stewart of Memphis; one son, James G. Morgan and his wife Kathy of Canton MS; grandchildren, Brooks Freeman, Candace Ladell Box, Andy Morgan, Jason Morgan, Chad Morgan Johnson, Alaina Ward, and Gabrielle Stewart; 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Jean Houston Morgan, parents, Francis Bell Morgan and Lecta Maude Jackson Morgan, and brother, Garner G. Morgan.

The family also wants to thank Arniza Quinn and Sandy Powers for their loving care for their father.
