Obituary for Gary Lynn Wilson

Gary L. Wilson, 69, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018 in Brooksville, MS.

Gary was born December 28, 1949 in Starkville, MS to Howard and Nevie Miller Wilson. Gary entered the Navy on February 28, 1969 and served in the military for six years. He worked at Parker-McGill for 24 years. He loved Mississippi State football and baseball, car races, stock car races and he owned and trained many coon dogs and squirrel dogs.

Gary was preceded in death by his father, Howard Wilson and his brother, Thomas Wilson.

He is survived by his mother, Nevie Miller Wilson; sister, Deborah Wilson Fesmire (Arthur); nephew, Todd Fesmire (Bronwyn); two nieces, Emily Fesmire Jenkins (Brooks) and Rachel Fesmire Purser (Paul); and nine great nieces and nephews.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday, January 4, 2019 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, with the service immediately following in the funeral home chapel.
