Condolence: Mrs. Polk and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Polk’s passing. He will always hold a special place in my heart. I loved taking piano from him and I appreciated his wonderful sense of humor. Most importantly, I will always be grateful for what he meant to my dad. Dad treasured their friendship. I imagine they are sharing some laughs again now.
All my love,
Kristy

Condolence From: Robert Preston Stringer III
Condolence: This still has me in shock! The Polks were neighbors of ours when we first moved to Mississippi in Forest. They were also neighbors of ours when both families built new homes in the East part of town. Hal blended in with all the neighborhood kids playing sandlot football and basketball. Those were some of the highlights of my young life. Years later my wife and I would tailgate with Hal, Joyce and others outside the football stadium at State. He will be really missed by this man. Rest In Peace, my friend...see you later!
Robert
