Condolence: Condolences to Joyce and the entire family. Halloween was a great teacher, and also a great friend. I will always treasure his guidance and his memory. The World has lost a wonderful person. He will be missed.

Condolence: This still has me in shock! The Polks were neighbors of ours when we first moved to Mississippi in Forest. They were also neighbors of ours when both families built new homes in the East part of town. Hal blended in with all the neighborhood kids playing sandlot football and basketball. Those were some of the highlights of my young life. Years later my wife and I would tailgate with Hal, Joyce and others outside the football stadium at State. He will be really missed by this man. Condolence: Words cannot express my feelings during this time. I feel the loss of my one-time mentor and lifetime friend with you, his family. Thank you so much for sharing him with those of us who were lucky enough the be taught by him as members of the Forest High School Band. He instilled the pride of always doing the best that we can do into each of us. Heaven has certainly gained an angel and I'll bet he's already warming up the band for competition!
