Obituary for Harold "Chris" Christofferson

Harold Christoffersen of Lawrenceville, NJ, passed away on November 20, 2019.

"Chris" was an Eagle Scout, and committeeman for his sons' scout troop.

During WWII, he served in the Navy's Electronic Training Program.

During the Korean War, he was stationed at the Naval Air Station at Millington, TN, where he met Miss Dorothy Anne Gray, his wife of 54 years.

He graduated with a degree in Engineering from Rutgers University and a degree in law from Seton Hall University - both with highest honors.

He spent 30 years working at RCA's David Sarnoff Research Laboratories in Princeton, NJ.

He was the recipient of the Jaycees Distinguished Service Award, was president of the Lawrence Township School Board, a Deacon at the Lawrenceville Presbyterian Church, and the Treasurer of Princeton's Helping Hands Chapter.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, brother, sister, and wife.

He is survived by sons David Gray Christoffersen and James Brooks Christoffersen, daughters-in-law Miranda & Michon, grandsons William & Charlie, and granddaughter Laura Grace.

He will be laid to rest on Monday, November 25, 2019, at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Starkville.

In Lieu of flowers, the family would request donations to the Salvation Army or to Alzheimer's research.
