Condolences

Condolence From: Melanie L. Moody
Condolence: To the Lusk Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Lusk's passing. She was truly one of a kind. She expected you to know her material, backwards forwards and sideways. Making an "A" in her class was truly an accomplishment to be proud of. I enjoyed her class and still use things I learned there on a regular basis in my own classes. Thank you for sharing her with us.

Condolence: Ms. Lusk was one of the finest teachers I had in high school. She was in inspiration teaching biology. Although I never pursued that field of study; I never forget many of the lessons that she presented. It has kept my interest in biology and will until I take my last breath. She could make biology very interesting. She was stupendous teacher.

Condolence: Mrs. Lusk was a wonderful teacher, the most dedicated teacher I had in high school. She was an example of what a teacher ought to be.

Condolence: Mrs. Lusk was one of the best teachers I ever had. Even though my interests were mainly in language and literature, I could not help but be enthralled with the lessons of biology learned in her classroom. She had a special gift for instilling knowledge into the malleable brains of teenage students. Thousands of us know how fortunate we were to have had her as a teacher. There is no way to account for the impact she has made in many, many lives. I am glad she had a good long life; she deserved it.

Condolence: To the family of Mrs. Lusk:
I was in her biology class in 10th grade. She was one of the best teachers I have ever had. Her vast knowledge and love of science was inspiring. She was always willing to help if you didn't understand. I still remember the things she taught. Even a person I knew in graduate school at MSU couldn’t believe my notes from class, because he said that information was only being taught in his classes! She was gifted by God to teach about His creation. May God comfort you all during this time of sorrow.

Condolence From: Toni Graves
Condolence: There is no one I admire more than Jane. When she retired (the first time) it seemed like every MD in this town was at the reception. When I was in trouble of any kind, I could count on Jane. She had the most consistent personality I’ve ever known. One time I was in the Presbyterian Church and there she was in a robe in the choir. Almost angelic. Jane! A scholar, but more than a scholar. She was my friend. Toni Graves.
