The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Johnny Johnston can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Johnny will be greatly missed by many, including me and his co-workers at MSU Extension Service. However, what joy to know he is home with the Lord. Anyone who knew him, knew his faith was strong, and he knew about God's love and His promise. What a comfort! To all the family, you will remain in my prayers in the days ahead.

Condolence: Johnny was not a blood relative to the Ames family, but he was an adopted one. From the Sunday morning breakfasts at Hardee’s to the Mississippi State baseball and football games, it was an honor and pleasure to have his unique company. Thank you, Mr. Johnny for your God given scriptures and loving manner to our family.
