Obituary for Mildred McLemore Kellum

Mildred McLemore Kellum was born August 15, 1923 in Crawford, MS to Thomas S. and Willie Tucker McLemore. She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, James L. Kellum; five brothers, Willie B., LT, Tommy, Richards and Murry McLemore; her beloved niece, Sue McLemore Tucker and Sue's husband Danny Tucker.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Don and Ebba Sanders Kellum of West Point, MS; grandchildren, Dawn (Delmon) Anthony of Eupora, MS, Will (Shelia) Kellum of West Point, MS, Neely (Greg) Ott of Mooreville, MS, Donna (Jay) Buckley of Sulligent, AL, Kelly Kellum (Ashley) of Starkville, MS; beloved niece, Betty McLemore Varga of Milwaukee, WI and best friend, Earnestine McGregor of Starkville, MS; 12 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.

She answered to friend, Moma, Aunt Mildred and most often Grandma. She worked at Starkville High School cafeteria and MSU Extension Service (Soil Testing Lab) until her retirement.

Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Adaton United Methodist Church, with services immediately following.

Pallbearers are: Delmon Anthony, Jay Buckley, Greg Ott, Will Kellum, Kelly Kellum, Jacob Sanders.

Honorary pallbearers are: great grandsons, Garrett and Colten Anthony, Ken Brown, special friend of Don, and all members of Adaton United Methodist Church.
