It is with great sadness that the family of Mildred Raines announces her passing on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at the age of 94. Mildred will be lovingly remembered by her daughter and son-in-law, Donald and Brenda O'Brian; grandchildren, Traci McQuary (Kevan), Mitzi Phelps (Shank) and Tonia McLendon (John); great grandchildren, Cole Phelps (Sarah Beth) and Claire Phelps, Maggie Mann and Ella Grace McLendon. She will also be fondly remembered by her half-siblings, Charles Love, Steve Love, Eddie Guy Love, Patricia Renton and Florence Wooley.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, Doc and Carrie Mae Love; her son, David Raines; and 5 siblings.

Mildred was born in Choctaw County and resided in Starkville, MS most of her life. She co-owned and worked as a hairdresser until the age of 82 alongside her daughter at the Tiki House of Beauty in Starkville, MS.

Visitation and funeral services will be at First Baptist Church, Maben, MS on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 1:00-2:00 p.m., with the funeral service immediately following. Burial will be in Maben Memorial Cemetery.
