Nancee Lee Light Jones, 80, passed away on January 31, 2022 at her residence in Starkville, MS. She was born on May 26, 1941 in Peoria, Illinois to Harry Henry Light and Bertie Leona Rose Light.

She was a retired mortgage loan officer for Regions Bank in Starkville. Mrs. Jones graduated from Twin Falls High School and afterwards attended Boise State Junior College. She then married Robert Grant Jones on April 26, 1969 at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension in Twin Falls, Idaho.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Griffith Robert Jones; sister, Jeanee Leigh Light Panoke and brother, Donald John Light.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Dr. Robert Grant Jones; daughter, Sarah Jones Nedoff (David) and their son, David Keegan Nedoff; son, Christopher Grant Jones (Kerrie) and their daughter, Evelyn Renae Jones; sister, Patricia Light Given.

Visitation will be held in Starkville, MS on Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection in the Parish Hall, with the funeral service immediately following at the church columbarium.
