Condolence: I have so many great memories being at the Sanchez home when we were kids. Dia and I acting silly with Richie and Steve giving us a hard time, as brothers do lol. I always thought so much of Richie, not only was he very handsome he had a great heart. Hard to say goodbye to someone so young. You all are in my heart and prayers. Much love!

Condolence From: Clint Haynes
Condolence: I shared more laughs with Rich than just about anybody else. He was a good friend to me and an inspiration to many students he taught and worked with at WKU and in surrounding areas. I take comfort in the fact that he has found peace, and I have a lifetime of hilarious memories from our adventures together which will keep me smiling.

Condolence From: Claude Bacon
Condolence: I had the honor of working with Rich at Lindsey Wilson College. We both enjoyed fly fishing and had many adventures in the Cumberland River; including one day joining arm-in-arm to escape rising waters! We also share WKU as our alma mater. We had instant connection at LWC and I will miss my friend. Love and prayers to all.
