Stacy Clifton Nowell, age 52, passed away in the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Collierville, TN on October 4, 2018. Stacy was an avid Mississippi State football and baseball fan but his favorite leisure time was watching # 4 Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed western movies as well as country music however is greatest love was spending time with his family.


Services are scheduled for Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Welch funeral Home in Starkville, MS. Visitation is scheduled from 12 – 2 p.m. with the funeral service to immediately follow in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in West Point Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Services will be conducted by Reverend Larry Yarber.

Stacy is survived by his mother Ora Miller of Hamilton, MS; sister, Rachel Walker (Micheal) of Amory, Patricia Lewton of Minot, N. Dakota, and Tammy Stanley (Mark) of Columbus; caregiver, Doris Hogan , Uncle Howard Conner , numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Jimmy Clifton Nowell and Step Father Wilber Howard Miller
